Religion of Peace? I'm Not So Sure...

Take a good, long look, at this girl. She was 16 years old, living in Canada. She enjoyed all the things most good and decent North American teenagers enjoy. And, despite her own family problems, she loved life.
She feared going home to her parents... and, now she's dead. Her father murdered her, because she refused to wear a traditional Muslim head garment.

Now, please continue to tell us all that Islam is a peaceful religion. This beautiful young girl is dead, because she didn't want to be told what to wear, how to think, or how to carry out her own faith. She's dead, because of an intolerant and cruel religion, that seeks to repress women, kill those who disagree, and promote violent theocracy.
The bottom line is... I don't believe anyone who tells me Islam is a peaceful religion. Let me share a few passages from the Koran, with you all, so that you can judge for yourselves:

"Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great." -The Women 4.34

"And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers." -The Cow 2.191

"You will find others who desire that they should be safe from you and secure from their own people; as often as they are sent back to the mischief they get thrown into it headlong; therefore if they do not withdraw from you, and (do not) offer you peace and restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and against these We have given.you a clear authority." -The Women 4.91

There are many more passages, in the Koran, which promote violence and death, towards disbelievers, and women. I'd rather not post them all, because I want you all to seek out the truth, for yourselves.
Also, I understand that there are Muslims who don't believe this sort of thing is right... but, I happen to think that peaceful denomination is more of a break-away sect, much like WBC is a break-away sect from Christianity. Both do not represent what their respective religions are all about.

I hate to say it... but, Islam is rotten, to the core. I won't believe anything else but what I've seen. Don't get me wrong, here... I'm not saying Arabs, Persians, and Palestinians are rotten, on the whole... I'm saying their religion is. There are good and bad people, from every race, color, and walk of life.
